Youth Success Stories

Youth Job Fair 2009 - May 7, 2009
at Lowell High School

The Youth Job Fair 2009 was sponsored by the WIB, Career Center and Middlesex Community College and held at Lowell High School on May 7, 2009. Over 38 employers were on hand for the Job Fair and they were very impressed with the turnout of students and the abundance of applications received.

Over 600 students attended the job fair talking with prospective employers and completing applications on-site. Employers and students alike seemed very pleased with the turnout and availability of summer job opportunities. The GLWIB is in the process of following-up with employers to ensure successful connection with applicants and monitor hiring progress.

The Greater Lowell WIB gratefully acknowledges the following employers for their participation in the 2009 Youth Job Fair and also to Lowell High School for hosting this event.
