About Member:

Danielle attended Westfield State University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then went onto to receive a Master’s Degree in Community Social Psychology at UMass Lowell.

Danielle began her career as the Marketing Director at the M/A COM Federal Credit Union. From there she moved onto Impact Promotions in a similar capacity, before she started her own business: Frills & Thrills. Frills & Thrills began as an event planning business but has since evolved to event and social media consulting. Nearly six months ago, Danielle was named the President and CEO of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce.

To say that Danielle keeps herself busy is an understatement. She sits on various boards within the Greater Lowell area including: Young Professionals of Greater Lowell (Secretary), Merrimack Valley Food Bank (Secretary), Salvation Army (Public Relations Committee Chair), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lowell, Lowell Plan, Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council, Lowell Telecommunications and UMass Lowell's College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Advisory Board. She also serves on the United Way's Summer Experiences in Greater Lowell Committee. Danielle has been a member of the GLWIB since August.

Organization Description

The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce serves communities in the Greater Lowell region including Billerica, Dracut, Lowell, Chelmsford, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, Westford, and others.

The role of the Chamber is to promote, advocate for, and provide opportunities for networking to area businesses. The Chamber holds, on average, five events per month for its member base which is now more than 700. Members represent local businesses, non-profit agencies, government, and institutions of education.

Danielle has been involved with the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce for years, since her time with M/A COM Federal Credit Union. Now in her first year, as President and CEO, her vision for the Chamber, is to ensure area businesses have the resources to flourish and to show Greater Lowell how fun business can be.
