Mission
The Greater Lowell Workforce Investment Board, working in partnership with the Chief Elected Office (Lowell City Manager) provides policy guidance for workforce development initiatives in the Greater Lowell area.
The Board works in concert with business, education, labor and other agencies dedicated to improving and promoting economic sufficiency for residents of Greater Lowell.
Who We Are
The Greater Lowell Workforce Investment Board (GLWIB) is a private non-profit organization consisting of private business representatives, educational leaders, community based organizations, local and state agencies, economic and other workforce development groups.

Mark Your Calendars for the 2009 Youth Job Fair
The 2009 Youth Job Fair, sponsored by the Greater Lowell Workforce Investment Board and the Career Center of Lowell, in conjunction with Lowell High School, Greater Lowell Regional Technical School and Middlesex Community College will be held on Thursday, May 7, from 3:00 -
5:00 PM at Lowell High School.
Last year's Youth Job Fair was a huge success with over 40 employers and 600 students participating - making it our most successful event to date. During these challenging times, our goal is to make this year's job fair even better by engaging more participants and working closely to match the needs of the employers and skills of our student job seekers!
